Glass Entrance Systems

For office doors, storefronts, and other interior and exterior entrances, Alpha provides quality doors in a variety of styles and finishes.  Our door styles range from continuous top and bottom rails to corner patches, and finishes include anodized aluminum, stainless steel and brass (in polished and satin finishes), and painted finishes.

In addition to swing entrances, Alpha provides sliding doors (top hung or with a bottom sliding track), sidelites to match doors, and transoms.  Alpha also offers clad doors and formed doors.
 

Tempered Glass Doors
Alpha offers interior and exterior entrance doors that provide expanded visibility and elegance. Rail sizes range from 1-3/4" x 3-1/2" to 1-3/4" x 12". Sidelites are available with continuous rails at top and bottom, with top and bottom channels, or with a combination of rail and channel.  Each door is custom made to specifications and is available with push-pulls, locking systems, closing devices, and other hardware.

SLIDING GLASS DOORS
Bottom rolling or top hung sliders are ideal for use in both interior and exterior applications. Sliding glass doors are available in either single or multiple door configurations to meet a wide variety of design requirements. Sliding doors can be employed into pockets to produce a doorless environment or closed to create a glass wall for merchandise display. Continuous top and bottom rails are available in various heights and profiles with each door made to specification.

FULL VISION SYSTEMS
This option opens the entrance area of a building to full vision in single story applications. Full vision systems eliminate vertical frame members. Only corner or patch fittings are required in the vision area. These fittings allow greater flexibility in the entrance design without sacrificing structural integrity. Fittings are available in anodized, painted, and clad finishes.

CLAD ALUMINUM DOORS
Clad doors are perfect when a project calls for the elegance of polished muntz, the sparkle of stainless steel or the richness of bronze. Materials range from .032" to .060" thick in both satin and mirror finishes. Muntz metal, a 60/40 composition alloy, yields a bright gold appearance. Stainless steel, a 304 alloy, does not rust and maintains a bright finish. Commercial bronze, a CDA 230 alloy, tarnishes rapidly for a weathered appearance. Clad doors are available in narrow, medium, or wide stile models and are designed to accept tempered, laminated, or insulated glass ranging in size from 1/4" to 1" thick.

FORMED DOORS
When you require a unique and distinctive entrance, select a formed .060" thick stainless steel, muntz metal, or commercial bronze door. Formed doors and frames are welded with joints ground and polished to a satin or mirror finish. These doors provide extra strength and security in exterior applications.
